Our 3rd grade writing lab would like to share with you
some narrative short stories about things that frighten
us.

What Frightens Me
Are you sckerd of snacks? I am cuse sometimes they can have two heads
and horns. Thay are slime and posenis. They can make you sick. Sometimes
they can kill you very qick. I will never get neare one. My dad got bite wine he
wese a little boy and he ript the teeth out of his scen. My dad tolt me that red,
orange, and black are the colers of snacks.

What Frightens Me
Monsters scare me. Do they scare you? Monsters scare me
because their unuaul cretures. Every night when I go to sleep I sleep on one
side of the bed so the other side with the monsters won’t get me. I have a closet. I think it has
a monster in it. Also I think theres a lot of monsters under my bed. I am scared
of monsters. Did you tell me if you were afraid of them or not?

What Frightens Me
What are you scare of? I’m scare of many things but mostly I’m scare of
tornados. Why? Becaues one day my family and me went to my grandmother’s
house and we wear outside when my dad said that he saw a tornado cameing
to my grandmother’s house and when it got there it tear up the house but we
wera all saft and so my grandmother came to live with us and that’s why I hate
tornados.

What Frightens Me
Haunted houses frighten me. They contain ghost, vampires, zombies, wicthes, and lots of old, creepy and wierd books. The stairs crack and there are lots of odd sounds. Sometimes there are booby traps and top secret compartments. Most of the time there are super old and the door opens on its on. From being so old the house is gray and the roof shingles are dark brown. The door handle is rusty and any other metal does that too. The rooms are pitch black. Haunted houses are ugly and scary.

What Frightens Me
I am scared of guns are you. I am scared of guns because you can get shoot
and die. I know a lot of peple who got shoot. Somebody can break in a house and
get shoot and you never pick up a stanrger on the side of the road because you
don’t know if they have a gun. I don’t want to get shoot do you. This is my story
and that is why I am scared of guns.

What Frightens Me 
What are you scard of? I am scard of spiders. When ever I see a spider I
just get scard. I think being scard is just the way we are. Some people is not
scard of something. Im not scard of little spiders. I am scard of big spiders.
When I was helping my dad building the pen for the hens I saw a spider on the
wood. I was so scard of the spider. When I went to my aunts house long time ago
I saw a spider on me and I was so scard of it. I think lots of people are scard of
spiders. Spiders are scary to me.

What Frightens Me 
Clowns frighten me! I do not like clowns. Some pepol say they are nice. I
Think they are evil. One day I went to the cucise. A clown came up to me. It
stared to make faces and bollon dogs. I stared to cry. I was four. Another one
came after the cucise. It had big shoes and a fat nose it made me cry to. That is
whay I am afraid of clowns.

What Frightens Me
Are you afraid of spiders? I’m afraid of spiders. They scare me because they
have eight legs. When I see one I tell my grandmamma. She well squesh them.
The ones I’m really really scared of is a black widow. 
They are very dark
sometimes they are hard to see to me. My grandmamma is very brave. They are
very strange to me. They are mean and that is the reson I’m scared of spiders.

What Frightens Me 
Worms frighten me. Because there wiggily, and they do not have bones.
That’s why I never dig for worms. Worms are scary some worms are big some are
little. I never touched a worm before. My bother says there cool, but I think
there still scary. When we go fishing I use minoes instead. I do not like to even
look at a worm. But someday I’ll touch a worm.

Are you afraid of alligators? I am. I am afraid of alligators because they have pointy teeth. They also have sharp backs. If I ever see one they frighten me terribly! They carry their babys in their mouth when they swim! That scares me very bad. They jump out at you and scare you to death! I am extremely scared of alligators!

What Frightens Me
What frightens me is boats! Why because they sink and when they sink everyone gets lost at sea! That’s why I don’t go in boats a lot but there pretty cool like speedboats and jet skees and they both go really super dooper fast. But they coold still sink and that’s what I’m frightened of and please try not to sink a boat.
